Block Users

There are three ways to block users from registering or logging in to your site:

  • by IP address or subnet
  • by Username
  • by Email address

See the instructions below on how to do it.

 

Block users by Username

You can block users by username from accessing your blog or website.

  • Login to your blog/site and go to your dashboard.
  • In the dashboard’s menu, click on Pie Register > User Control.
  • To block users by their Username click on the Block Users by Username tab.
  • Check Do not allow users listed below to login or registration to my site.
  • In the Usernames section, add the usernames of users you want to block from your site (one username on each line).
  • Click Save Changes.

 

Block users by IP Address

In the IP Addresses section add the IP address or subnet (example 192.168.2.1-24) you want to block from logging in or registering to your site (One IP address per line) and click Save Changes.

  • In the dashboard’s menu, click on Pie Register > User Control.
  • To block IP Addresses click on the Block Users by IP Address tab.
  • Check Do not allow login or registration from IP Addresses/Subnets listed below.
  • In the IP Addresses section, add the IP Address you want to block from your site (one IP Address on each line) and click Save Changes.

 

Block Users by Email Address

In the Email Address section add the email address (example demo@example.com) you to block from logging in or registering to your site (One Email address per line) and click Save Changes.

  • Login to your blog/site and go to your dashboard.
  • In the dashboard’s menu, click on Pie Register > User Control.
  • To block users by their email addresses click on the Block Users by Email Address tab.
  • Check Do not allow login or registration using the email address listed below.
  • In the Email Addresses section, add the email addresses of users you want to block from your site (one email addresses on each line).
  • Click Save Changes.

 

Allow Users

Admin can block all users from registering or logging in to your site, except which are allowed by admin. There are two ways to allow users:

  • by Username
  • by Email address

Allow users by Username

You can allow users by username from accessing your blog or website.

  • Login to your blog/site and go to your dashboard.
  • In the dashboard’s menu, click on Pie Register > User Control.
  • To allow users by their Username click on the Allow Users by Username tab.
  • Check Only allow users listed below to login or register to my site.
  • In the Usernames section, add the usernames of users you want to allow on your site (one username on each line).
  • Click Save Changes.

 

Allow Users by Email Address

In the Email Address section add the email address (example demo@example.com) you want to allow for logging in or registering to your site (One Email address per line) and click Save Changes.

  • Login to your blog/site and go to your dashboard.
  • In the dashboard’s menu, click on Pie Register > User Control.
  • To allow users by their email addresses click on the Allow Users by Email Address tab.
  • Check Only allow users using the email address listed below to login or register to my site.
  • In the Email Addresses section, add the email addresses of users you want to allow on your site (one email addresses on each line).
  • Click Save Changes.
