Note: The user will not be added to the mailing list immediately after registration if the Verify and Moderate feature is activated. The user will be added only once the user is verified.

Select Mailing List: Select the Mailing list in which you want your registered users to be added. In case if you are unable to find your mailing list in the dropdown, you may have to click on the Refresh button next to the Mailing list.

Show Text on Registration Form: You can customize here the message for the checkbox to take the user’s consent and make your form GDPR compliant. This message will be displayed on your front-end registration form.

Save the Settings.

Individual Form Settings: Mapping Form Fields with MailChimp

For every individual form, you need to map the fields of your registration form with the fields/tags of your MailChimp account to save the user’s data in the correct order.

Assign Mailing List: You can assign different mailing lists for individual registration forms. If not selected, Global settings would work.

Select the Opt-in Method: Select whether you want the users to Auto-add (Single Opt-in) or via Double-opt-in. If not selected, Global settings would work.

Actions: Click on the Merge fields button and map the form fields to save the user data under the respective columns.

Merge Fields will display all the fields of the selected individual form. Select the MailChimp field from the dropdown that you would like to map with your form field.

Save the Settings.

Note: You can find the MailChimp field names/tags from your MailChimp account. Go to your MailChimp Dashboard > Audience > All Contacts

From the Settings (dropdown) > Audience fields and Merge Tags.

Important: If you will not map and merge the fields for the individual forms, only the Email Address of the registered user will be added. No additional field data is saved.

How to Bulk Import your Existing Users to MailChimp

You can also bulk import the existing users of your registration form to your MailChimp Mailing list.

Select the Mailing List and the Registration form and click on Export. All the previous registered users will be added.

The users which couldn’t be added will be displayed in a CSV error log file, with their respective email addresses as well as the reason for failure.
