    Hi,

I found the reason. It was because of the name of the files. It was piereg-en_FR instead of piereg-fr_FR.

I did the change and it works now!

    Many thanks

Yes, I did the translation of “Register Form” in “Form Editor”. I did also some translations in “General Settings”. These translations works very well.

Then I have translated some fields/messages in piereg-en_FR.po. I tried with the fields of “Login in” screen (Log In, Remember Me, Lost your password?, etc). I have also translated “This field is required”.
However login page is still on english.

I have removed all over file in Lang folder to keep only _FR mo/po files but nothing changed.

I will send you my files via contact form.

    Hi again,

I added the line define (‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’); in file wp-config.php and nothing changed. Most of the fields remain in English instead of French.

    Regards

    Hi,

I have the same issue as Michel.
My WordPress is in FR. piereg-fr_FR.mo and piereg-fr_FR.po are translated in French. But I still have login form and friendly error messages in UK.

    Which wp_config.php do you mean?

    Many thanks
