Hi, i have the same problem, today after update to wp 4.2.1
before update all was ok, but after update get new problem
with this message:

“Could not open socket”

i have desactivated reCAPTCHA on login form
and the problem disappear…

but would be good to use recaptcha

somebody have a solutions?
