There aren’t. I simply downloaded the file. Commented out the existing line and added the new line below it.

Thanks for that, when I reactivate the plugin I get the following error message at the top.

Okay so, I checked and it already had this line in it.

allow_url_fopen = On

So I’m guessing it’s been on all along.

Reactivated Pie Register and the same problem occurs.

Okay so my hosting company have copied across a php.ini file to my root domain for me to amend. What exactly do I need to add/change please?

I see this exact same problem with my version 2.0.12 with the latest version of WordPress.

Deactivated all my plugins and reactivated them all one by one. Sure enough Pie Register is the one killing my site at the back end. Makes the admin panel basically unusable.

Is there a fix for this?
