Hi Team 🙂

I was wondering if you could help me with this small issue.
users who register on my site are reporting that email’s sent from Pie-Register automatically on my behalf goto their junk or spam folder.

I suspect the cause may be how pie-register sends the email message.

Hello,

Thanks for the question, You as a site admin have to manage this on you
own that whether you’re allowed to use an Email address as a sender
email or you need to SMTP auth in your WordPress. PR allows you to use
any email address whether your host allowed it or not, its site owner
responsibility you authenticate the email address.

That does help a little bit, just a little bit.
On Gmail how would I authenticate my own website to send out mails thru said account tho?

[Pie Register]

You can install an SMTP plugin that will authenticate your gmail email address when an email being sent. PR uses wpmail function so any plugin that extend it’s functionality will be the solution to solve this issue.

Thank you, and I tried your suggestion but it didn’t change.
I installed WP-Mail-SMTP and I configured everything correctly including allowing less secure programs to send thru Gmail.
I still get the same message.

I will mark this as resolved. But perhaps a system to prevent this from happening can be implemented into Pie-Register in the future?
