After updating on two WordPress sites I had to make a few changes to the Pie Register settings but could not find the normal button on the side dash board menu bar. I tried several things including deactivating and reactivating the Pie Register plugin but no luck.

After login and out a few times I noticed that the Pie Register settings button does actually appear but then disappears. So I deactivated all other plugins and then activated them one by one and found that the dashboard menu button for Special Text Boxes covers the Pie Register dashboard menu button.
