Math captcha fail on safari

    I’m using Pie chart and it is really great. Thank you for building it!!!
    Unfortunately I have a trouble with the math captcha. The register form fails when I try to register a new account with the Error message: Error: Invalid Math Captcha.

    My first thought: OK, maths wasn’t my best at school but then I’ve verified it and found out that everything is working fine with chrome, IE, opera, etc. Only at safari this problem exists.

    Any solution? Is it a bug? Is it a misconfiguration?

    Gerald!! It seems that Safari is preventing Pie Register to save the pertinent cookies for the Match Captcha (other browser do save it).

    I’ll follow up this ticket to see if eighter you or the developers find a solution for this bug 🙂

    Hi,

    The problem is “,” comma in the Cookie Content. Javascript imploding the Cookie array with “,”. Safari doesn’t like it.
    The work around would be imploding/exploding the array with other string like “|” pipe.

    However, we will fix it in our future release.

    Any estimated date for the next realease?
    I would like to know if this will be in a near future or if I should try to code it myself.

    Hi all,

    Anyone having issue with Math Captcha in Safari can apply the patch.
    Download:
    https://pieregister.com/pr_patches/safari_math_captcha_bug_patch_2.0.13.zip

    Please note: It is always recommend that you make backup of your all
    files and folder prior to overwriting files. This way you can always
    roll back to the original version if in-case of any inconvenience!
