I use:
– WordPress 4.1.1
– Pie-Register 2.0.14

On Form Editor – Registration Form – on any field description, if i use special characters (example: Ú ã à) they show on the site ?, and dont show on the Form Editor – Registration Form – field description – what i have written. After if i write anything and save, they delete all changes on Form Editor – Registration Form.

If i write “Primeiro e Último Nome”, they show “Primeiro e ?ltimo Nome”, see on http://lurdesvieira.com/teste2/registo-no-site

On old version of pie-register they work pefectly, but after upgrade they have this error.

Please make sure the page encoding is set to UTF-8 and so the database
as well!

Where i define this ?

Please go to PHPMYADMIN and make sure the Database charset is set to UTF-8. I am failed to reproduce the error on my environment though.

I think is not a Database problem.

Doing a test. On “General Settings” “Login Form” i have:
– Username Label: Nome de utilizador à á ã ç Ú
– Username Placeholder: Seu Login que lhe permite aceder ao site. à á ã ç Ú

See in http://lurdesvieira.com/teste2/iniciar-sessao work perfectly, so i think the problem are on “Form Editor : Registration Form”.

Label on registration forms work.

After i save they show ok the label on the site, but show the description with special carecters, see http://lurdesvieira.com/teste2/registo-no-site

The changes i made (see http://lurdesvieira.com/teste2/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Form-editor.jpg ) after saved they dont show the label correct, the description disappear and modify all other label’s, descriptions and other informations/configurations to default (see http://lurdesvieira.com/teste2/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Form-editor-02.jpg )
