After registering, I still stay in the register page. Can we make it so that we are redirected to other pages?

Yes. Edit the form and scroll to the bottom and hover the mouse over the “Submit” button. You will notice a circular button which will appear on the left of the Submit button. Click it and then choose the “Page” radio button and select the Page you wish the user to be redirected to from the drop down list below. Hope this helps.

You can pass encoded URL via redirect_to variable.
i.e:
http://yourdomain.com/pie-login/
to
http://yourdomain.com/pie-login/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fyourdomain.com%2Fwelcome%2F
